Exchange Day on Structural Rehabilitation with Bureau Greisch

Structural rehabilitation is a key challenge in extending the lifespan of civil works and ensuring sustainable interventions.

CIDECO took part in a technical exchange day organized by Bureau Greisch, a Belgian engineering and architecture firm with nearly 300 employees operating in over 20 countries.

During the event, Alaa Chateauneuf presented CIDECO’s expertise in the analysis of existing buildings and civil structures, focusing on methods for assessing and optimizing structural performance.

The discussions covered several major topics:

  • Evolution of standards and theoretical frameworks
  • Diagnostic methods for structures, particularly in reinforced concrete
  • Practical examples of rehabilitation projects
  • Sustainable approaches for optimizing the built environment

The event brought together researchers and practitioners, fostering a rich exchange of experiences and technical perspectives on the challenges of structural rehabilitation.

CIDECO warmly thanks Bureau Greisch for organizing this event, as well as all speakers and participants for the quality of their contributions.
