On September 29, 2026, CIDECO organized its first webinar, dedicated to its vibration diagnostic technology. Three speakers presented the approach, from its scientific foundations to its implementation on a real structure.
An answer to disorders whose origin remains uncertain
Cracks, unusual vibrations, discomfort felt by users: on a civil engineering structure as well as on a building, these signals are not always sufficient to identify the cause of a problem.
The webinar presented how vibration diagnostics complement conventional diagnostic methods.
From scientific foundations to implementation
Alaa Chateauneuf, President and Founder of CIDECO, presented the origins of the approach. David Vigier, Sales and Marketing Director, then detailed the five-step approach: instrumentation using accelerometers, modal analysis, construction of a digital twin calibrated using the measurements, diagnosis and recommendations.
A concrete case: Vigouroux Bridge
Joël Reynaud, Civil Engineering Structures Technician at the Cantal Department, shared his experience of the diagnosis of Vigouroux Bridge, a concrete arch bridge, instrumented with 51 sensors. His presentation illustrated the integration of vibration diagnostics into the approach of a structure manager.
The session, hosted by Clément Posada, concluded with a discussion with the participants.
