Monitoring the Influence of Wind on Building Movements

Several parameters can influence the movements of buildings: temperature, humidity, rainfall, and, of course, wind.

Yesterday, one of our monitored buildings was subjected to strong winds. Thanks to our instrumentation, we were able to observe its behavior in real time.

When the rooftop anemometer recorded high wind speeds, our inclinometers, installed at the top of the columns, detected significant movements, all within expected limits.

The real-time data confirmed a full return to stability after the wind episode, demonstrating the normal behavior and resilience of the building.
